QUICKTEXT PRIVACY POLICY

 

The protection of personal data is taken into account by the QUICKTEXT Company, which wishes to explain in a clear and transparent manner how and why it collects, processes, stores and uses users' personal data.

This privacy policy also presents the rights and control tools available to users regarding the processing of their personal data.


1. Introduction


This privacy policy (hereinafter the "Privacy Policy") is proposed by the Company QUICKTEXT, a simplified joint stock company with a capital of €120,000, registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under the number 488 865 619, and whose registered office is located at the following address: 64, rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud, 75011, Paris (hereinafter the "Company"). 

The Company provides users (hereinafter the "User(s)") with the website : https://www.quicktext.im (hereinafter the "Site") which allows them to find out about the services offered by the Company, to obtain information on the Company's activity, to subscribe to the Company's newsletter, to contact the Company via the "Contact Us" section and to request a free demonstration of the Company's services. 


 2. What information does the Company collect from its Users ? 


In order to allow Users to contact the Company via the Site ("Contact Us" section), the Company, acting as data controller, collects the following personal data from Users:

  • First name ;

  • First name; Last name ;

  • Professional email address ;

  • Country. 


When the User subscribes to the Company's newsletter, the Company, acting as data controller, collects the following personal data from the User:

Email address.

The User is informed that the Company makes a livechat available on the Site. This is a customer service software available online with instant messaging and an integrated support ticket and web analysis system.

This livechat is a discussion tool through which the User can obtain from the Company precise answers to his/her questions about the Company and/or the services offered by the Company.  

When the User uses the livechat, the Company collects the following personal data in its capacity as data controller :

  • Name;

  • Email address;

  • Content of the message / request of the User.

The company publishing the livechat is LLC, whose contact details are as follows: LLC, 4880, Lower Roswell Rd, Suite 165-112, Marietta, GA 30068 - info@socialintents.com - 404-669-6609.

If the User requests a demonstration (free of charge) of the Company's services, the Company, as the data controller, collects the following personal data from the User:

  • Business email address;

  • Telephone number;

  • First name;

  • Last name;

  • Company name;

  • Country.

The Company, acting as data controller, also collects the following personal data relating to Users : 

  • IP address and host name of the user;

  • Access time;


3. How and why are Users’ personal data used?

The Company uses Users’ personal data for the following purposes:

Users’ personal data are retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the Company holds these data, to meet Users’ needs, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, enable the exercise of rights, and/or for statistical or historical purposes.

After the above retention periods, Users’ personal data will be deleted or anonymized by the Company.


4. With which third parties does the Company share Users’ personal data?

Access to Users’ personal data is restricted to individuals who need the data to fulfill the purpose of the processing.

Users’ personal data are processed by authorized Company personnel and service providers supporting the Company’s activities.

Users’ personal data are also collected by Microsoft (Microsoft AZURE), which hosts the Site on cloud servers located in the Netherlands.

Users’ personal data are also transmitted to the Company’s subcontractors, notably LLC located in the United States.

Therefore, Users’ personal data are transferred outside the European Economic Area.

The Company commits to ensuring a level of data protection equivalent to that guaranteed by the GDPR and has notably concluded standard contractual clauses with LLC, as amended by the European Commission.

Users’ personal data may also be disclosed by the Company:

  • if required by law or legal proceedings;

  • in response to a public authority’s request;

  • when the Company deems it necessary or appropriate to ensure the safety of individuals or protect the public.


5. What rights do Users have?

Users have the following rights:

  • Right of access and rectification:
    Users can request access to their personal data and request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data. They also have the right to know the origin of their personal data.

  • Right to deletion:
    Users can request deletion of their personal data when:

    • the data is no longer necessary for the purposes collected and processed;

    • Users withdraw consent (when consent was the legal basis), without affecting prior lawfulness;

    • Users object to processing;

    • the data was processed unlawfully;

    • deletion is required by law; or

    • deletion is necessary for compliance with data retention rules.

  • Right to object:
    Users can object to processing of their personal data for reasons relating to their particular situation. They can also object without reason at any time to processing for commercial prospecting purposes.

  • Right to restriction:
    Users can request restriction of processing if:

    • they contest data accuracy;

    • the Company no longer needs the data;

    • they have objected to processing.

  • Right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing:
    Users may not be subject to decisions based exclusively on automated processing producing legal or significant effects, including profiling.

  • Right to data portability:
    Users can request their data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format or ask that data be transferred directly to another controller provided that:

    • processing is based on consent; and

    • processing is automated.

  • Right to issue advance directives concerning data after death:
    Users may define instructions regarding the exercise of their rights after their death (duration, deletion, communication) and designate a person responsible for exercising these rights. Without such directives, the Company will comply with heirs’ requests as provided by law.

  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority:
    Users may file complaints with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) online at CNIL Complaints or contact CNIL at 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, phone: +33 1 53 73 22 22. Users are encouraged to first inform the Company’s Data Protection Officer to seek an amicable resolution.


6. How can Users exercise their rights?

To process requests promptly, Users should specify the request’s purpose, context of data collection, and provide a copy of both sides of their ID card.


7. How does the Company secure Users’ personal data?

The Company implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure security proportional to the risk. These include maintaining confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of processing systems, restoring data access and availability, and regularly testing and evaluating the effectiveness of these measures.


8. Links to third-party sites on the Company’s Site

The Company may include links to third-party websites with different and independent privacy policies. Users are advised to review third-party privacy policies when visiting those sites.


9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Users are advised to review this page regularly. In case of significant changes, the Company will notify Users.
