Andreia Vireia is the Marketing Director of the group and he was kind enough to answer our questions about his experience and results with Quicktext, the hospitality AI super app

Why did your hotel group choose to innovate with AI?

We love our clients and we wanted to “gift” them with an instant and accurate communication channel that was up and running 24/7 and could answer all their questions in their own language… We don’t see it as a mere convenience but as a strategic imperative in the ever-evolving landscape of customer service.

Were you involved in the decision to set up Velma as a guest relation app?

Not at the beginning however I know it was a smooth implementation into our daily operations. We are not a start-up but we are nevertheless a fluid and dynamic organization which allows us to take swift and decisive actions.

As of today, does Quicktext meet your business expectations?

The short answer is yes, Velma is doing a great job at handling guest communication and also at converting lookers into bookers.

Do you think Quicktext gives you a good return on investment?

Well, in addition to boosting productivity in the guest relation department, last year, the app took care of 9400 guests communication, generated 24 300 nightstay requests worth € 4.4M and this year we are breaking records… Clearly Quicktext pays for itself!
